Unboxing

Connect LAN Cable

Step 1: Connect one side of the LAN cable to your router/Hub

Step 2: Connect the other side of the LAN cable to the LAN connector of the printer.

Connect via USB

Alternatively, you have the option to connect your printer using a USB cable. To do so, follow the steps below to get started.

Step 1: Make sure the printer is Unplugged, To avoid printer damage.

Step 2: With a screwdriver, remove the two top screws holding the interface card in place.

Step 3: Remove the interface card unit by gently pulling in the direction of the arrow above

Step 4: Once you have removed the interface, gently slide the new interface in until it is firmly seated.

Step 5: Secure the new interface card using the two screws that were extracted in step 2.

Step 6: Lastly, run a self-print test. The interface should show USB, as shown below.

Connect Power Cable

Step 1: Connect the Power Cable

Step 3: Insert the power cable plug into an electrical outlet.

Turn The Power On

Step 1: Press the power switch on the side of the main unit.

Step 2: When the power is turned on and it can be used normally, the ready LED turns on blue.

Turn the power off

Step 1: Press the power switch on the side of the main unit

Step 2: The ready LED (Blue) turns off when the power is turned off.

Paper Setup

Step 1: Set the paper with the printer On to automatically feed or cue paper

Step 2: Push the opening lever ( 1 ) to open the printer cover ( 2 )

Step 3: Set the paper roll in the direction shown in the illustration.

Step 4: Pull the end of the paper straight.

Step 5: Push both sides as shown in the diagram and close the printer cover.

Self-Printing

Follow the steps below to learn how to detect your IP Address.

Step 1: Turn the printer Off

Step 2: While pressing the Feed button ( 1 ), turn the power On ( 2 ).

Step 3: Release the Feed button after 5 seconds. The printer will produce two sheets of information. Keep the second sheet, as it will display the detected IP address within a bordered box. This sheet also contains subnet and gateway information. This information may be useful for troubleshooting purposes if the printer isn't detectable.

Category Routing Level

The following guide will show you how to route categories once you have named your printers on the Point of Sale. You can route categories directly from the POS or the dashboard.

Step 1: From the Point of Sale (POS) settings navigate to Menu.

Step 2: Select Categories

Step 3: Select a category name, then assign the printer. The products within the category will be routed to the assigned printer.

Product Level Routing

Learn how to route your products at the product level by following the steps below.

Step 1: Tap ( a) or slide the dropdown arrow down ( b) to open settings page.

Step 2: Tap on Menu

Step 3: Tap on Products

Step 4: Select a product and assign a printer. The printer you assign to your product will eventually be routed to the assigned printer.

Troubleshooting Guide

This section will show you how to reset your printer. Please follow the steps above to reset your printer:

Step 1: Turn the printer on to confirm you have a solid green light for Power.

Step 2: Look behind your printer where your Ethernet cable plugs into the network interface card. Next to the cable, there will be an “SW” red button

Step 3: With a small screwdriver or pin, press the “SW” button until you see both the NIC LED lights start blinking, immediately release the “SW” button. Both NIC LED lights should remain solid

Step 4: Press on the “SW” button one more time until both NIC LED lights are turned Off, then release the button.

Step 5: Lastly, confirm with a self-test page that the printer was able to reset the NIC card successfully. Power off your printer, locate the Feed button in front of your printer, hold down the Feed button while you power on, this should start to print two pages, depending on the printer, it will make a clicking sound.

If your printer happens to not print after orders have been fired, please follow the steps below to help fix the issue.

Step 1: Ensure you have the correct paper roll.

Step 2: If thermal receipt paper is inserted, please try to flip the paper over, and make sure the tongue is coming from on top and not from the bottom.

Step 3: Make sure the lid of the printer is closed properly.

Step 4: Open the lid of the printer and make sure there is no jammed paper.
