Reload a Gift Card eatOS

Steps on Activating and Reloading a Gift Card

Step 1: On your POS Main Page, navigate to the Ellipse icon or 3-dot icon and tap it.

Step 2: Then navigate the list of options and tap on Gift Card

Step 3: Input the customer's Gift Card Number using the Number Pad on screen.

Step 4: After entering the customer's Gift Card Number input the amount they want to add to the card.

4a. Tap on Charge after confirming the amount with the customer.

Step 5: After tapping on the Charge Button you will be directed back to the POS Main Page with the reload amount on the order ticket, tap on the Charge Button

Step 6: Select the customer's preferred payment method and select or enter the amount the customer paid.

6a. Tap on the Charge Button to finalize the gift card reload.

6b. A prompt will appear once the transaction is successful.

Checking Gift Card Balance

Step 1: To check your gift card balance on your POS Main Page, navigate to the Ellipse icon or 3-dot icon and tap it.

Step 2: Then navigate the list of options and tap on Gift Card

Step 3: Input the customer's Gift Card Number using the Number Pad on screen.

3a. After entering the customer's Gift Card Number you will then be able to see its current balance.

Paying Using a Gift Card

Step 1: To process a payment using a gift card, after finalizing the order tap on the charge button.

Step 2: Next select gift card from the list of payment options.

Step 3: Enter the customer's gift card number and tap on charge if the card balance is sufficient.

3a. Tap on the charge to finish the transaction.
