Setting Up Timed Pricing in Your POS System

Timed pricing is an effective strategy to enhance sales and increase customer engagement at your restaurant. This guide will walk you through integrating timed pricing within your point-of-sale system, helping you effortlessly apply discounts and special offers.

Access Timed Pricing Settings

Step 1: From your new order screen, tap or slide the setting bar down.

Step 2: Tap on Restaurant

Step 3: In the "General" settings tab, click on the "Timed Pricing" option to begin the setup process

Step 4: On the Timed Pricing page, click the "Plus (+)" icon to add new pricing strategy

Step 5: Configure Timed Pricing Details

a. Timed Pricing Name: Assign a unique name to easily identify your timed pricing plan.

b. Select Revenue Centers: Determine which areas, like the main dining room or a specific section, will implement the timed pricing.

c. Choose Ordering Sources: Define whether the pricing applies to orders made via quick service (QSR), kiosks, online platforms, or all available channels.

d. Select Date Range: Select the application date range or duration of the timed price.

e. Specify Da ys and Times: Customize the pricing for each day of the week by setting start and end times. If necessary, extend the pricing into the following day.

Timed pricing is a powerful addition to your restaurant management toolkit, enabling you to attract more customers during targeted times and boost your overall revenue. By meticulously following these steps, you can establish and customize these pricing strategies to align seamlessly with your specific business requirements.
