To make the process of adding new add-ons to your menu seamless, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Add-ons: Navigate to the menu management section and select Add-ons.

Step 2: Add New Add-On: Click on the + New Add-ons button, enter the necessary details, and save your changes.

2a. Add-on Name: Provide a descriptive name for the add-on (e.g., Add Bacon, Extra Egg, Add Onion).

2b. Add-on Group: Choose an appropriate group for the add-on.

2c. Options: Indicate whether the add-on has options:

2d. Multiple Options: If the add-on has multiple options, specify if customers can choose more than one.

2e. Number of Options: Enter the count of options available for customers.

2f. Option Details: Enter option names and corresponding prices.

Example:

Add On Name - Add Fries

Option - Large or Medium

Value - $5 - $4

Dashboard - How to Edit and Archive Add-On

Step 1: Hover over the add-on name and click the Edit Icon

Step 2: Proceed to make any changes.

Note: Any changes made will be saved automatically.

Step 3: To Archive the Add-on tap on the Archive Icon.

Step 4: A pop-up prompt will appear.

Step 5: Click on Yes, Archive it!, Alternatively, you can click Cancel to stop the add-on deletion process.

How to Add and Edit Add-Ons on the Point of Sale

If you're looking to add and edit add-ons directly from your Point-of-Sale device, follow these steps:

Step 1: Access Menu Management: From the new order screen, tap the drop-down arrow ( 1a ) or slide down the settings bar ( 1b ).

Step 2: Open Menu Management: Tap on Menu Management.

Step 3: Navigate to Add-Ons: In the left-hand navigation bar, select Add-Ons.

Step 4: Add New Add-On: Click on the + Add button.

Step 5: Enter the required information:

Note: If no order types are specified, the modifier will be available for all orders.

5a. Order Type Tag: Select the applicable order type for which the add-on will be displayed.

5b. Add-On Name: Provide a name for the add-on (e.g., French Fries).

5c. Options: Indicate if the add-on has options.

5d. Number of Options: Specify how many options customers can select.

5e. Add-On options: Add the options and the price.

Step 6: Save Changes: Tap the X and your changes will be saved automatically.

Editing and Deleting Add-Ons

To edit or delete existing add-ons, follow these steps:

7a. Edit Add-On: Make desired changes to the add-on details.

7b. Archive Add-On: Tap the archive button and confirm.
